1. Implementation of law

A) China Duari net was seized and destroyed by fire in Bashundia Katakhal - 19 July 2023

b) According to Jessore Municipal Area Fishery Protection and Conservation Act-1950, the mobile court conducted a raid against illegal current nets in the big market of Jessore and seized and burnt about 5000 meters of current nets and the mobile court fined 2000/- rupees to 3 illegal current net sellers. .– August 27, 2023

c) An operation was conducted to clear illegal dams/banks in Chitra River adjacent to Lebutala Palpara in Sadar Upazila of Jessore District under Fisheries Protection and Conservation Act-1950.- August 30, 2023
d) Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer, Jessore Sadar, Jessore- Ripon Kumar Ghosh 35,000/- (thirty five thousand) and 60,000/- (sixty thousand) to 2 institutions for finding adulterated shrimps in Manihar, Jessore on the basis of secret information. (Total = 95,000/- Ninety five thousand Taka) fined. 350 kg of the shrimps grown were destroyed by burning and burning in the ground.- August 31, 2023
